In your FM3, the specific job you have in Mexico needs to be specified, and changed if you switch employment. We highly recommed you to have these papers in order to avoid any problems with the government. The sallaries are not great for employment but it goes a long way. It is common that people living in Cancun are making about 400-800 dollars/month. Money goes a long way here though, since taxes are low. Utilities are low since no heating bill needs to be paid, and the water bill is less than 6 dollars a month. Food expenses are minimal.
